Storyville Station is always scouting new
talent. Are you the
life of the party? Are you the type of person that is witty and social?
Are you talented and creative? Are you funny or goofy? Maybe you're just
undeniably beautiful. Want a rewarding and steady part-time job? Then we have an opportunity for you
to be part of a fun team of entertaining party hosts. We provide exciting, high-energy birthday parties for children, including their parents, at our location in Vestavia Hills. Please put your “kiddie party” expectations aside – think Shrek, not Cinderella. We seek males and females who enjoy being in front of an audience. You will entertain and host parties as one of our zany characters from a medieval knight to a pirate, a superhero to a rock star, a princess to wonder woman. Acting experience is not required – but the desire to perform is a necessity. We have found that the best, most entertaining cast members don’t initially see their brand of humor as “kid-oriented” – so don’t rule this out. We have been providing excellent birthday parties for over 5 years and have the experience needed to train the right person. You will learn to improvise with an audience, “work the room”, and show everyone a good time. It’s like getting paid well (and tipped too) to get stage time and confidence. It’s not an easy job, but it’s fun and rewarding. Most parties are weekends plus weekday afternoons and evenings. We can work around your regular schedule, but weekend availability is a must.
